My PhD (with John McDowell and Kieran Setiya @ the University of Pittsburgh) was on Practical Conflict, Rationality and Motivation. My previous post-doctoral research (3 year EU fellowship) was on Practical Knowledge and Moral Perception.
I'm currently a post-doctoral fellow (IKY) at the University of Athens (with professor Stathis Psillos), developing an account of Practical Reasoning as Power.
I teach philosophy at the Open University of Greece and the American study abroad program, College Year in Athens, CYA.
My research currently focusses on the nature of practical reasoning, issues in the theory of action, moral epistemology and virtue ethics, the logical form of life (human and animal), and the work of Elizabeth Anscombe, Philippa Foot and Iris Murdoch.
